We adhere to the Cambridge Curriculum requirements as our assessments of choice as it is an internationally recognized curriculum and assures our students an easy entry point into almost any tertiary institution world wide.
We however integrate it with many other add-ons that add value and make it relevant to the students. We use realistic methods to deliver our lessons and whenever possible we make them practical so that the child can not only understand but also be able to apply what they have learnt into their daily lives.
Our Curriculum Goals
Our goal is to have students achieve academic excellence through a wide range of teaching methods. We believe highly in the statement ‘if they won’t learn the way we teach, we will teach the way they learn’.
We maintain small classes so that we can be able to reach every child wherever they are. Our methods are learner centered and we ensure that continuously encourage independence for the student so that they can own their learning.
Character Development
Character development not only has a spot on the time table, but is also integrated and attended to in their daily life. We recognize that social skills, emotional intelligence and overall ability to manage self, and to relate well with others, are key components to having a balanced and healthy life.
Life Skills
The world has changed and many parents are very busy working to provide their families, they have less and less time to teach children much needed life skills.
We were therefore tasked to with providing some training in this area, a task we have been happy to take up. The skills are as basic as dressing up and washing your own utensils, and as complicated as first aid and budgeting.
We try as much as possible to incorporate this in their normal lives so that they can become independent adults who can take care of themselves.
