At Golden Rays International, we are also keen on accountability and independence. We try to mould children into individuals who can take care of themselves and who can pick up after themselves. For example, the students clean their own cups and plates after using them. This we have found to be a great way for the students to internalize the necessity to always pick up after themselves.
We also have open lines of communication with the parent where parents can communicate with a teacher directly through WhatsApp and where teachers regularly send relevant messages home about the notable incidences in school.
Our Approach
We adhere to the requirements of the Cambridge curriculum and we do Cambridge assessments. However, we do not limit ourselves when it comes to delivery of content. We teach in a way that ensures full understanding and internalization of both concrete and abstract concepts.
We use a thematic approach whenever possible as this gives students many opportunities to understand concepts.
We ensure that we always try to connect the education they get with normal daily life and help the students know exactly how this education will help them in the future.
